Selective Geometries a new limited edition artist book by Sarah Crowner. Combining elements of a traditional exhibition catalog along with collage, appropriated imagery, inserts and hand painted additions, this project showcases Crowner's acute eye and critical engagement with the formal vocabularies of modernism. A collaborative publishing project with Olney Press, ANTEPROJECTS, and the artist, Selective Geometries is a beautifully produced document that blurs the lines between ephemera and fine art while critically engaging the resurgent interest in geometrical abstraction and the languages of dystopia.
Printed in a limited edition of 50 copies, Selective Geometries has written contributions by Todd Alden and Nick Herman.
